1Bulk cement tankandFly ash tankThe structure

It mainly consists of the steel structure of the warehouse body, ladders, guardrails, feeding pipes, top dust collectors, pressure safety valves, high and low level meters, arch breaking devices, discharge valves, supporting control systems and other components.

The bulk cement storage tank (cement silo) is a cylindrical structure with a conical bottom. The bottom is supported by four circular pipe legs to support the entire silo, and the steel structure is welded together. The top is equipped with a dust collector and a pressure safety valve.

2、 Installation and use of fly ash tanks and bulk cement tanks

  1. When installing bulk cement tanks (fly ash tanks), they must be lifted by lifting machinery and placed on a prefabricated concrete foundation. The verticality of the bulk cement tank (fly ash tank) to the horizontal plane after being lifted must be checked, and then its bottom must be welded firmly to the foundation embedded parts.
  2. After the bulk cement tank is fixed, the cement is transported to the factory by a bulk tanker truck. Then, the conveying pipeline of the bulk cement truck is connected to the feeding pipeline of the bulk cement tank, and the cement in the tank is transported to the bulk cement tank by the air pressure of the bulk tanker truck. Similarly, bulk fly ash is transported to the bulk fly ash tank through the conveying pipeline of the bulk fly ash tanker.
  3. During the process of transporting fly ash or cement into the fly ash tank (bulk cement tank), the operator must continuously press the button of the vibration motor of the dust collector on the top of the warehouse to shake off the fly ash or cement attached to the dust collector bag, in order to prevent the bag from being blocked and the warehouse from bursting.
  4. Once the bag is blocked by fly ash or cement, and the pressure inside the warehouse exceeds the safe pressure of the top pressure safety valve, the pressure safety valve can be opened to release the pressure inside the warehouse, preventing the occurrence of explosion accidents.
  5. The high and low level gauges of bulk cement tanks (fly ash tanks) can be used to observe whether the silo is full or short of material. Usually, a controller is connected to the control system for real-time display, and alarms are triggered when the cement tank is full or short of material.
  6. When material needs to be discharged, first open the manual discharge valve at the bottom of the cement tank cone, and then transport the cement out through the cement conveying device. In the process of feeding, if there is a phenomenon of "arching", the arch breaking device should be activated in a timely manner, and pulse blowing should be carried out to eliminate the "arching" and ensure smooth supply of fly ash or cement for feeding.
  7. When the cement conveying device malfunctions, first close the manual discharge valve at the bottom of the cone to prevent cement from overflowing and causing waste.
  8. The combination of fly ash tanks (bulk cement tanks) and screw conveyors can transport materials to various locations.

3、 Instructions for the production of bulk cement tanks and fly ash tanks

  2. The unloading height ranges from 1.96 meters to 4.2 meters, and can also be processed and manufactured according to the size requirements of the user for the cement tank.
  3. Common capacities for fly ash tanks and bulk cement tanks include 30 tons, 50 tons, 65 tons, 80 tons, 100 tons, 150 tons, and 200 tons of cement tanks

4、 Selection of cement tank volume/capacity:

We usually select cement tank specifications based on "how many tons of cement can be loaded" or "what is the total capacity of the cement tank":

  1. How many tons of cement can a bulk cement tank hold?
    We first determine the weight of 1 cubic meter of cement based on its volumetric capacity. The bulk density of cement refers to the mass per unit volume of cement in its natural state (including voids), expressed in tons per cubic meter. The bulk density of cement can be divided into two types: bulk density in loose state and bulk density in compact state. The bulk density of cement in a loose state is generally within the range of 0.9 to 1.3 tons per cubic meter; The bulk density in a compact state is generally within the range of 1.35-1.7 tons per cubic meter. Usually, the volume (in cubic meters) of a cement tank should be calculated based on a density of 1.35
